A sit down interview of Apostle Reuben Habaasa and Teacher David Okello.
TESTIMONY: The language of people who have made Christianity a Religion
They say, “Let us build our church“; “God has called and assigned me to build Him a church” – which church? That is falsehood and the devil’s church!
This seed of Satan say, “Let us go to the church”. You can not go to the church when actually you are the church! We can only go to fellowship; and whenever we gather in the meeting Tent or outside the Tent, we gather as a church. They say, “Let us take our patient to the church”. That is ignorance and false faith. As it is written that, “My people are suffering because of lack of knowledge and understanding”. The devil is happy when he hears you speak that language!
The followers of these lost priests enjoy calling their so called ‘men’ and ‘women’ of God, “Our servant, our servant”.
A Prophet Messenger of God is called God’s Servant; not men’s servant. He is a servant of none, other than God. This is a religious world system. The dogs bark, the lions roar, the cat mews and the hen crocks! The dog will hear the language of its puppies; the hen will hear the language of its chics.
God Himself will hear the language of His children. Speak God’s language!

Sermon 009 : The Church of God
God Himself through His Servant Jesus Christ, said: “So I tell you, you are Peter. And I will build my Church on this rock. The power of death will not be able to defeat my church.” Therefore, the Church of God are people; those who receive a Messenger of God in their age and believe the message God gives him – they become God’s living Church for that age. Peter became the foundation of the church of God in his age and those who received him and believed the message he taught became the church of God built on Peter as the foundation and Jesus Christ, the Living Word Peter taught, became the Cornerstone of the church of God.
Let me take you back to the history of the Bible in the days of Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – before Moses appeared. We see altars on which the chosen people of God sacrificed and made covenants with God, their Creator. During the generation of Prophet Moses in the desert, God commanded Moses to build a Meeting Tent for Him to meet the people of Israel. And God would speak to them through Moses in that special meeting Tent.
In the days of prophets such as Samuel, Gad and Nathan; God commanded King David and Solomon to build for Him a Temple. This is where the services to the LORD could be carried out. In the days of Jesus of Nazareth, the religious leaders had turned all these altars and temples into Synagogues. God’s servants like John the Baptist, Jesus of Nazareth were chased and rejected from these synagouges. According to the revelation of John, the apostle, he called them synagouges of Satan.

After Jesus of Nazareth, and for around 300 years, through the Roman Catholic religion, buildings were constructed and called Ecclesia – which means ‘assembly’ or ‘congregation’; often translated as ‘church’.
Now, Protestants, Evangelicals and Pentecostals borrow the same word ‘church‘, and call the buildings of their places of worship, churches. These are the synagouges of satan today, as was in the days of Jesus of Nazareth.
The church of God are people. The only material that can build the church of God is the Holy Spirit. No prophet has ever been called and commissioned to build for God a Church – that is falsehood. It is not God calling you and commissioning you, but Satan. How can you build a church when actually you are the church? How can you go to church when actually you are the church? This language is from the evil one.
In 2007 when people received me and believed what I teach and preach, the LORD commanded me and said: “Reuben, my servant, you will build for Me a Meeting Tent which will be in the shape of number 7. And every Thursday I will speak to the elect through you in that place”.
So in Kitwe Town Council, this is where we currently have New Jerusalem Meeting Tent. We don’t call it church, like the daughters of the Roman Catholic religion, who call buildings churches. And the Spirit of the LORD says, “if these people don’t change and repent, they will be condemned to hell; and on the Judgement Day, their judgement will be found on the throne of the Pope, the father of the Christian religion.

Apostle Reuben’s 40 Days in Prison: A Testimony of Faith and Divine Justice
In July 2010, after returning from an evangelical mission in Bujumbura, Burundi, I found myself facing yet another challenge—one that tested my faith in ways I never imagined. Due to the message I preach and teach, a group of religious leaders conspired against me. Led by Rev. William Ganshaga, the High Priest of Rukoni Archdeaconry at the time, they forged documents and falsely accused me. With bribery at play, they influenced the Chief Magistrate, who unjustly sentenced me to one year in prison.
But God had other plans.
Despite their intentions, my time in prison was cut short. The High Court Judge in Mbarara, upon hearing about my case, called for my file. By divine intervention, I was released after exactly 40 days in prison—not a year, as they had plotted. It was a sign that no matter how men scheme, God’s will always prevails.
After my release, something remarkable happened. The very people who had orchestrated my imprisonment began to face unforeseen consequences. Rev. William Ganshaga tragically died in a motorcycle accident. The Chief Magistrate, who had been bribed, succumbed to a fatal illness. Jimmy, one of those who handled the bribe, and a woman who was paid to falsely accuse me, both met untimely and unusual deaths. The woman, in particular, lost her sanity and continues to live in misery to this day.
This testimony is a reminder that God is ever-present with His messengers. He protects them and ensures that His truth prevails, no matter the opposition. My time in prison was not a punishment but a testimony of God’s faithfulness. What was meant to break me only strengthened my resolve to spread His word even further.

To those who stand for the truth, fear not! God sees, He knows, and He fights for His own. Justice belongs to the Lord, and He will always prove Himself mighty in His time.
Sermon 008 : True Worship
Human beings were created in the image of God in such a way as to worship God. As we worship God in a true way, it feeds the image of God within us; and our relationship with Him grows stronger. It is a tragedy for a person created in God’s image to live a life without worshipping God. Worship is not only about singing. Worship God with your heart, life, knowledge, wealth, job, business and finances. Worship God with your actions, thoughts and words. For example, in tithing – this is an act of worship; giving an offering, thanksgiving and sacrifices. As you do all these things you develop a strong relationship with God; and show that you really trust in Him; you love Him with all your heart and that your faith is firm only in Him. When you don’t worship God, you do not please Him. Only God, the Creator, is to be worshipped – this is true worship.
Brothers and sisters; kings and priests in different world systems here on earth, worship ONLY the Lord GOD, JEHOVAH. Stop worshipping images and your ancestors; remove all images and shrines from your minds and homes. Many people in this world spend a lot of time, money and energy trying to please their dead ancestors; they worship them. Beloved children of God, separate yourselves from such practices; they are evil and disgusting to the LORD. You need to understand this: those who died cannot help or hurt you. They are no longer the light of the world. Their bodies have rotten away in the ground and their spirits went back to where they were before they were brought into their mother’s wombs. Actually, when you try to communicate to them, any message that appears to come from a dead relative will, in fact, be from the demons. And this is because of your lack of true knowledge about the Lord GOD, JEHOVAH. That is false worship!
Christianity has built its religion on worshipping Jesus of Nazareth, as their god; and this is an error. Avoid setting a day and time of worship – let every moment be used to worship your Creator, God whose name is JEHOVAH.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth said, “Yet a time is coming and has now come, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is Spirit and worshippers must worship Him in spirit and truth.” Why that? Yet you religious people worship the son, who is son of man; and you think it pleases God! God is angry with you and you have misled many. You are going to be destroyed if you do not repent and change your evil ways. The time has come. For where there is a Prophet Messenger of God, there shall always be true worshippers!
Stop worshipping systems and human beings. Stop worshipping wealth, or anything God has entrusted to you. Many people in this generation worship world systems rather than worshipping God. These world systems include education, finance, sports, technology, science, politics, governments, business, jobs and religions. When you trust in something and put all your faith and hope in it, you end up worshipping it unknowingly.

Apostle Reuben Habaasa’s Interview with David Okello – Part 2
Who is God? The Truth Beyond the Title
In the second part of his interview at Kitwe Town Council, Apostle Reuben Habaasa delved into a profound theological discussion about the identity of God. When asked by David Okello, “Who is God?”, Apostle Reuben responded with a perspective that challenges conventional religious teachings.
“First, we must understand that God is just a title, not a name,” he began. “Many people say God without knowing who they are referring to. The Bible itself acknowledges that there are many gods, but I serve only one—the Creator, the Almighty, whose name is Jehovah.”
He pointed to various scriptures where God identifies Himself as Jehovah, distinguishing Him from other deities. “From the beginning, the Creator revealed His name. He is Jehovah, not a mysterious, unnamed being. People who truly seek the truth must recognize Him by His name,” he explained.

Apostle Reuben then addressed the controversial doctrine of the Holy Trinity. “I do not believe in the Trinity,” he stated firmly. “The idea that God exists as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is not supported by scripture. God is only one, the Heavenly Father, Jehovah. Jesus himself prayed to His God and acknowledged Him as the only true God. If Jesus had a God, then clearly, God is not three but one.”
He further explained that the confusion about the Trinity comes from human interpretations rather than direct biblical teachings. “The doctrine of the Trinity was created by religious councils long after Jesus ascended. The prophets, Jesus, and the apostles all spoke of one God—the Father, Jehovah.”

A Messenger of God: Who is Apostle Reuben Habaasa?
In an exclusive interview conducted at Kitwe Town Council, David Okello sat down with Apostle Reuben Habaasa, the visionary leader behind a rapidly growing Christian movement. The conversation centered on his divine calling, his role as a messenger of God, and why many believers trust in his leadership.
Apostle Reuben began by recounting his journey, explaining that his calling was not by personal ambition but by divine appointment. “I did not wake up one day and decide to be a messenger of God,” he shared. “God called me, just as He called Moses, just as He called Paul. My life was set apart for His work.”
He described an encounter with an angel of God at a young age, an experience that left a permanent mark—both spiritually and physically. “From that day, I knew my life would never be ordinary,” he said. “God was preparing me for a mission beyond human understanding.”

As the interview progressed, Apostle Reuben emphasized that a true messenger of God is not defined by titles but by righteousness and obedience. “When people hear ‘Son of God,’ many misunderstand it. In reality, being a son of God means being righteous like Him, walking in His ways,” he explained. “I am a son of God because I have dedicated my life to His will, just as Jesus did.”
His message was clear: his leadership is not about power or personal gain but about guiding people towards a true relationship with God. “People believe in my leadership because they see the truth of God in my works, not just my words,” he stated.

The True Meaning of “Son of God”
One bright afternoon, Apostle Reuben Habaasa, with a Bible in one hand and his voice full of conviction, began to share a story of the true meaning of the term “Son of God”.
“Many people, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters, misunderstand what the term ‘Son of God’ truly means. They believe we Christians claim that God gave birth to Jesus, but this is not what the Bible teaches. Let me explain it to you with a story—a story of righteousness, faith, and identity.“- he said.
“When the Scriptures refer to Jesus as the ‘Son of God,’ it does not mean God physically gave birth to Him. Rather, it means that Jesus reflects the righteousness, character, and nature of God Himself. He lived a life free of sin, perfectly aligned with the will of God. This is why He is called the Son of God—because He embodies God’s holiness and truth.
And here’s something even more beautiful: when we choose to live righteously, obeying God’s Word and reflecting His character in our lives, we too become ‘sons’ and ‘daughters’ of God. It’s not about biology; it’s about living in a way that pleases Him.“- he added.

I, Reuben Habaasa, am also a son of God—not because God gave birth to me, but because I have chosen to follow His ways and live according to His truth. The same is true for all of you who strive to live righteously.
So, when someone asks you about the ‘Son of God,’ remember this: it’s not about being born of God in a physical sense. It’s about being like God in character, righteousness, and truth. And that is something every believer can achieve.”
