In July 2010, I returned from an evangelical mission in Bujumbura, Burundi, carrying the fire of God’s word in my heart. However, soon after my return, I faced another accusation because of the message I preach and teach. This accusation led to my imprisonment, and I found myself behind bars in Ntungamo Prison, where I spent 37 days.
Eventually, my case was brought before the High Court in Mbarara. To attend the hearing, I was transported in a Toyota Ipsum vehicle from Ntungamo to Mbarara. I was chained and seated in the back seat alongside a policeman who held my case file. A policeman drove the vehicle, and a policewoman, armed with a gun, sat in the passenger seat.
The journey was tense, and as the vehicle sped along the road, the unthinkable happened—the driver lost control, and the vehicle overturned three times!
The scene was chaotic. Tragically, the policewoman lost her life on the spot, and the driver and the policeman with my case file suffered severe injuries and were rushed to Itojo Referral Hospital in Ntungamo.
But here’s where the hand of God revealed itself powerfully: I emerged from the accident unharmed. Not a single scratch was on my body. As I stepped out of the wreckage, I realized that the chains that bound me were broken!

The vehicle itself was beyond repair, a testament to the severity of the accident, and remains at the police station to this day. But through it all, I was spared, saved by God’s miraculous intervention.
I share this testimony not to boast but to glorify the Lord who delivers, protects, and redeems His people even in the darkest of times. This experience strengthened my faith and reaffirmed my calling to preach His Word boldly, knowing that He is always with me.
May this testimony encourage you to trust in God’s power, for He is the ultimate protector and sustainer. Whatever challenges or trials you may face, remember: the God who breaks chains and preserves lives is still at work today.

To God be the glory, now and forever!

The manifestation of Divine Protection; proof of innocence before the Heavenly Jury; and, yes, judgement to those who thought they wielded worldly power. Praise belongs to the Most High, forever!
God has never left His beloved ones. This testimony reveals how God Jehovah protects the innocents. Amen man of God.
God’s power is a bove everything
Amen
